Experienced Support Worker wanted.
At Maximus Support Services Ltd, we’re continuing to grow and are looking for experienced Support Workers to join our expanding team supporting individuals across the Isle of Wight.
We provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals living in their own homes and within small community-based settings. This is an opportunity to be part of a service that is developing new provisions and investing in doing things properly.
What we’re looking for- We’re specifically seeking people who already understand the role and can step in with confidence:
Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience in a UK support/care setting (essential) A genuine understanding of supporting individuals with additional needs Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team A proactive, calm and reliable approach to support workDesirable (not essential):
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
What the role involves- You will be supporting individuals with:
Daily living skills and routines Living life to the fullest Promoting independence and choiceWhat we offer- We’ve structured this role to provide stability for staff:
– No short calls – all shifts are block shifts supporting 1 individual.
– Minimum shift length: 6 hours
– Typical shifts range from 6–12 hours we can be flexible
– Opportunities for full-time hours
